Before Antony presented Caesar's corpse at the Caesar's funeral Marcus Brutus gave five conditions , those were-
a)He can take Caesar's body.
b)He can say whatever he want to say of Caesar.
c)He cannot blame the conspirators.
d)He has to mention that he was given a chance to speak by the conspirators.
e)He will deliver his speech after Brutus has completed his speech.
Note- Marcus Brutus was a senator and Mark Antony was an ordinary person (A soldier in reality *not mentioned in the chapter*), causing him to believe that he was a better orator than Mark Antony.
Brutus's Speech
Brutus was an idealist and not practical. Throughout his speech he spoke from his EQ( Emotional Quotient). He said that Caesar was ambitious without any clear evidence and said that he should had also died if he was Caesar.
Mob's Response
Everyone in Rome knew that Brutus was a lover of Rome and so both his speech and audience perception gave him an advantage causing everyone to hate Caesar at first.
Antony's Speech
Antony unlike Brutus was a very practical person. He was a better orator than Brutus. He included all the evidences to prove Caesar's innocence and was able to drive away the crowd against the conspirators by abiding to the five conditions given by them.
