Brutus told the mob about the reasons for Caesar's death.He told them that Caesar died because he was ambitious.Moreover he said that he was a threat to Rome's democracy. Had he been living all the Romans would have been put to slavery.He told mob that they couldkill him if he ever becomes ambitious.No his decision to allow Antony was not a good one as he must have known that Antony was a good orator who would sway the mob by his speech.

Brutus justified the killing of Caesar to the mob he said that he love Caesar but he love Rome more than him. Caesar was very ambitious and he wanted to be the dictator of Rome and if this would happen he would make all romans salves to avoid this situation, to avoid dictatorship, to avoid slavery he killed Caesar. actually he manipulated the mob.
actually his decision to permit Antony to speak proved to be beneficial for Antony but not him. antony was a good orator and also a crowd puller . he very well knew what the Roman were thinking of Caesar after Brutus speech and what he should said to convince them. and as result he diverted the crowd to such any extent that the were filled with fire of revenge and wanted to sly the conspirators hence this decision was not wise at all for Brutus and other conspirators as in order to d
