The narrator has two friends George and Harris. Three of them decided to go on a holiday. Narrator to pride that he can do the packing job better than everyone in the world. He offered to do the packing for the whole trip, as he wanted to supervise two of his friends. He would get a chance to boss over them while doing the packing. But it didn't happened as planned. Instead, Harris and George irritated him and they kept on reminding for the things that narrator had not kept.
