Answer:

KALAM'S FATHER SAID THAT HE HAD KNEW TO GO AWAY TO GROW. HE GAVE HIM THE ANALOGY OF A SEAGULL THAT FLIES ACROSS THE SUN WITHOUT A NEST . HE THEN QUOTED KHALIL GIBRAN TO HIS MOTHER SAYING THAT HER CHILDREN ARE NOT HER OWN CHILDREN

Answer:

Kalam's father explained to Kalam’s mother to give his son

opportunities to get higher education and to make

progress. He quoted Khalil Gibran and explained that parents can love their children but they cannot  force their thoughts upon them. They must allow them  space and freedom to develop their own thoughts and

carve their own path in life. He probably said this to comfort

himself and his wife who was hesitant to let Kalam leave

Rameswaram and to encourage Abdul Kalam.
