Mr. Narayan Masurekar or Nan kaka noticed a little hole near the top of Gavaskar's left ear lobe, on the day of his birth. The next day by mistake he was exchanged for another child and found next to a fisherwoman. He was found because of the mark. In this way nature provided him a guard and helped him to retain his true identity.
