Jijabai was a phenomenal mother who established different good qualities including values like patriotism, and the lessons of  Dharma in Shivaji.Shivaji was born in auspicious event of VaisakhiShukla Paksha  at Shivneri fort.

Right from his childhood, Jijabai taught Shivaji about the lives of Shriram, Maruti,Shrikrishnaand many other great charactersalso from the epics of Mahabharat and Ramayana to make him pious and patriotic character.

Thus, she moulded him in the form of an ideal administrator  byimplanting in to him   devotion to the nation and Dharma.

She was not only a mother but also a friend ,philosopher and guide and a great  inspiration to Shivaji.
