What did the authors mother do when the house was on fire

The authors mother ran into the house and brought a metal box which had some important documents, she kept it on the ground and in sudden she ran again into the house and brought the letters and photos of the authors father as his father died his mother only have his letters and pictures they mean a lot to her,so she ran to the house to bring those letters even when the house was on fire.
