The government of United States banned workers in important industries from striking.
However the US government involved itself completely to the war after the Pearl Harbor Attack. When the war was at its intense stage the government wanted its troop to hope there will be no stoppage in supplies to the war field. So it banned all its workers from important factories that produced war equipment and food from striking.
