what difference between credit card and debit card

The key difference between the two cards is where the money is drawn from when a purchase is made. When a consumer uses a debit card, the money comes directly from his checking account. When he uses a credit card, the purchase is charged to a line of credit for which he is billed later.

Debit card - A Debit card is a plastic payment card that can be used instead of cash while making transactions. While making online transactions, you have to tell the code of Debit card to the online shopping service and the amount gets deducted from the card holder's bank immediately.

Credit card - A Credit card allows you to borrow money from the bank while making purchases. The bank pays behalf of the customer and allots a grace period of 25-30 days to pay the Credit card bill. If you don't pay the Credit card bill then you have to pay the interest.
