The main difference between muni and the American is the language. There is a language barrier between them. Muni can't understand what the American is saying and vice versa. Muni thinks that the American wants to buy his two goats whereas he is looking forward to buy the statue of the horse and pays Muni the money as the American thought that Muni was the owner of the horse because of the way he sat at it's pedestal.
