What difference did you see in water with salt and water with chalk powder after keeping for sometime?

in saltwater we find the salt getting dissolved and in chalk powder we find the chalk powder floating above the water .

Answer:

Water and salt got mixed together completely while chalk powder settle down at the bottom of water.
