Helen realised that she was different from other people. She had noticed that her mother and other people did not use signs as she did but talked with their mouth. Sometimes She stood between two people who were conversing and touched their lips. She couldn't understand and was very worried. She moved her lips and gesticulated wildly without result. She made her so angry at times that she kicked and screamed until she was exhausted
