What difficulties may we find when we use the flame test for identification

The following difficulties may we find when we use the flame test for identification are :-
1>several metal gives same color flames ,so we can't apply this test to every metal .
2>We know that sodium is present in most of the compounds and also its flame color is very much bright which dominants other flame color of other metal so we have to use blue glass to see other flames.
3>flame test cannot detect low concentration of most ions .
