What disadvantages does griffin face because of his invisibility

Griffin had faced only hostility as a result of his invisibility. Even when he wore clothes he could be seen, or rather his clothes could be seen. He could not spend the money that he stole without the fear of being caught and his secret being found out. His condition was not helping him the way he had anticipated. He had thought it would be very easy to be invisible and scare people. Money would not be a problem any more as he could get whatever he wanted. Little did he realise that nature would not let him be. To bear the harsh weather, he had to wear clothes and this would expose rather than hide him. To fight hunger he had to eat food, but this action instead of fulfilling his hunger, made him desire concealment. Money, though he had plenty, as he had robbed many people, was of little use to him since he could not buy anything with it that would make him lead a normal life. This was not what he had wanted or worked for. His experiment had failed him.
