Small to medium sized frogs eat insects such as flies, mosquitoes, moths and dragonflies. Larger frogs willeat larger insects like grasshoppers and worms. Some large frogs will eveneat small snakes, mice, baby turtles, and even other smaller frogs! Most frogs will starve before they eat a dead insect or animal.many species of frogs survive the winter by entering a state of hibernation. Hibernation is a state of 'dormancy', like a long, deep sleep where the frogs' activities slow way down for the winter. Frogs hibernate as an adaptation (a trait that helps them survive) to really cold temperatures.

Water
Shelter

Things to stand on
Frogs need many things to survive and keep their species going. They need this like
.Water
Frogs need water to breed in, keep wet and stay moist and breathe when they are tadpoles. They mostly need rain water because it will naturally refill well it rains.
.Shelter
Frogs need an area that is covered 70% by shade and 30% receives sun light because this ensures that algae grows but the bog doesn’t dry out. This will make the frogs happy hoppers. Frogs need logs and rocks near in and around the frog bog. Frogs need logs and rocks for shade and protection.
.Food
Frogs like to eat bugs and insects even spiders, worms, snails and small fish. Some bigger frogs go for mouse. All frogs avoided planets that form a mat on top of the water like duck weed and azolla. These plants make it difficult for tadpoles to get enough oxygen.
.Other frogs
Frogs need each other to reproduce tadpoles to keep the frog life cycle going. Frogs like to have a friends to keep the campy and not feel lonely.
