You should respect him/her in whatever they do, but don't tolerate it if they go out of the way and irritate you even if you are not wrong complain about him/her.
But if it would be your fault then accept it because when you later go in life you will surely remember the teaching system and you would tell Thank you teacher, yes you would I have experienced this.
