If you are answering a question but still you are not getting Points then it might be because you have given inappropriate answer or copied answer
if you have done so then your answer gets deleted and you don't get points
The second reason might be that you have earned points but you are loosing it when you ask a question. So maybe you don't know that when you ask a question and set a rate of points that much points get cut of from the points you have earned.
