Solutions :-
There are three sides in a triangle.
Suppose side
a = 8 cm
b = 15 cm
c = 17 cm
Semi perimeter (S) = (a+b+c)/2 unit
= (8+15+17)/2 cm
= 20 cm
Now,
BY heron's formula,
Area of triangle = √{s(s-a) (s-b) (s-c)} square unit
= √{20(20-8) (20-15) (20-17)} cm²
= √{20×12×5×3} cm²
= √3600 cm²
= 60 cm²
Hence,
Area of triangle is 60 cm²
