What do meant by shadow ? Give an example

a boy names carlos is in a room with a working bulb he got scared because he saw a dark projection below his feet and he was suprised that what ever movement carlos did the black projection did the same thing . This black projection that carlos saw was his shadow .

EXAMPLES- any solid object will have shadow if light is over the object but there are things which don't have shadow love , anger, hate , jealousy , greed , etc .

A dark shape on a surface that is caused by something being between the light and that surface

An area that is dark because something prevent direct light for tomorrow reaching it !
