what do plants use the sun's energy to manufacture?

 Hello dear....

The chloroplast present in the leaves of plants get activated when the sunlight falls on it thus light reaction of photosynthesis occurs and this energy is used in breaking the water molecules into oxygen and hydrogen....
after that photophosphorylation and dark reaction starts....which helps in manufacturer of food by photosynthesis...........
