Observations suggest that the expansion of the universe will continue forever. If so, then a popular theory is that the universe will cool as it expands, eventually becoming too cold to sustain life. For this reason, this future scenario once popularly called "heat death" is now known as the Big Chill or Big Freeze.[1]

Observation shows that the universe will expand forever. If this is true then the universe will cool down as it'll expand. Hence it may result in a big chill or bif freeze where the average temperature of the universe will be extremely less, far far less from the present. Stars will eventually end it's supply of hydrogen fuel and will end it's supply and be concentrated stars.
