the poem 'fire an ice' written by the poet Robert frost, describes the two ways in which the world could end, that is , fire and ice. fire symbolises desire and the greediness of a person whereas ice symbolises hatred and indifference between people. the poet says that the world has to end someday, and he favours the people who think that's the world would end in fire, as he had tasted of the burning desire, the emotion which can cause a lot of harm to onself and the other.
but, if the world managed to survive the fire, ice is more than sufficient to kill the people and destroy the world at the end.
