Hi friend,

Swasthya is health and Sanyam is peace in ourselves,or u say self-control.

See if we will be angry all the time or we will be angry on someone we will effect our health. As when we are angry our blood pressure(BP) increases, our heart rate goes up that will effect our health.

So in this way swasthya and sanyam are interrelated.

Hope it helped you........................

Q)WHAT IS SWASTHYA?
A- If we go for the literal meaning of swasthya, then it means health. but our health itself comprises a lot of things... like our thoughts, well being of our physical state, as well as mental one, etc. we never notice the way we breathe... inhale and exhale.. how would our lungs be behaving during this? what all must b going inside our body..? what happens to the food when it goes down the esophagus? there are certain questions but we never care to look or feel them. simply because we know much about digestion n have seen lot many things.. but is so?? my point here is that is it really all through? aren't we different from the diagrammatical representation?
And the answer is yes and very obvious... we are different, not only from the dummies and pictographical presentations but also from one another... Ever thought about so many things all set up inside our body.. the three systems :- RESPIRATION, DIGESTION and EXCRETION. and in females even more complicated as REPRODUCTION.... the ability to develop yet another human having the similar type of configuration. A little new born with such a hyper complicated system.
Our body plays many roles be it in terms of scientific needs or emotional ones. We regularly work on for hours to gain luxuries but we don't get time to relish them... what's the fun? We hurt ourselves for other people (emotionally as in case of breakup or divorce etc.) and deviates from our paths? what would be the conclusion?
Don't we deserve a tag of being selfish here? Our body is the the only thing that we can rely on, and we do ALWAYS. but in return do we reward it?
WE DON'T...
And yes we are required to thank our body and reward it fruitfully..
[not alone by eating apples  :)]
It is our duty to keep our body in proper state, as its the only one that keeps us up all the time.. be it in schools , colleges, offices or any other activities..

As said earlier SWASTHYA also deals with our mental state and its well being.. what we think, how we think and why we think are the questions that are answered by the individual on his or her own. Every one has their own perceptions regarding their thinking process.. as it's their own and we might have our own opinion about it which is not accepted by the the thinker.
For carrying out proper thoughts we must b clear about our rights lefts and the wrongs...
because there are three things white, gray and black respectively...
All these can be classified by human mind but at a condition of being well.. and this is all about SWASTHYA. :)

Q) WHAT IS SANYAMA?
A- Sanyama deals with self-control.. it's basically the soul part. Our soul is the the in-built god gifted energy that give the first and the basic most concept of our existence. Apart from the superficial thoughts that soul is this --that AND certain other taboos, it is a known fact that soul is main interface between the heavenly energy and human body...
Self control is necessary we all know why, but still we don't work in positive directions considering our sanyama.. We still work as directed by our boss... because we say
' BOSS IS ALWAYS RIGHT"!! :)
True.. it could be possible at times but not always,as the boss is again a Homo sapience sapience with more than 1400cc of brain capacity... But we don't want to give any address to that.. just work work work and work as directed.
This all the time work under pressure results in frustrations and finally it loosens our self-control and we move towards depression, suicide, rash behavior etc. Why don't people understand that when a person dies its not he or she alone is quitting the world but also taking away the part of other lives associated to them... In depression we forget ourselves and starts criticizing our deeds and think about the past... Here i would like to say that we are no one to judge the past events sitting in present. It will definitely effect our future, and a wise person is not expected such a folly!!
Sanyama teaches us the way of living, our behavior towards animals, humans, family, or be it society at large... It can be gained by self assessments, inquiring ourselves... who we are? how we are? what is the purpose of my existence? why am i here?
Go ahead and ask these questions to yourselves.. do you have the perfect answer for your questions? Are you actually satisfied? If not then why..... and its simply because we don't have time...
Time management is an important part and sanyama can teach it very well..
So try out and get some time to know yourself. Go an a solo date and do the things you like and no what others do. :)
