@ The property by virtue by which a body loses its weight is called as buoyancy..

@ The upward force exerted on any object on fluid by fluid is called Buoyant force...and its the force that makes an object float or sink..

@ Buoyant force always acts in upward direction..

@ According to Archimedes principal, When an object is immersed fully or partially in a fluid, it experiences an upward force tha is equal to the weight of fluid displaced by it..

-» Buoyancy means the force that causes objects to float.

-» According to the principle of Archimedes, when a solid is placed in a fluid, it is subject to an upward force equal in magnitude to the weight of the fluid it has displaced.

-» The force of buoyancy is given as,
F = Vρg
where,V is the volume of the liquid displaced,
ρ is the density of liquid and
g is acceleration due to gravity.

-» For example:- when boat floats in water, when salt water has the ability to help things float,etc.
