*Gandhi ji took his 11 demands in front of Lord Irwin such as abolition of salt tax,decrease in land revenur,etc.

*Irwin declared Gandhi's demands unrealistic and do not fulfil his demands.

*Civil Disobedience movement started on 11 March,1930.

*He chose salt as the symbol to unite the nation,as everyone used it in daily life and paid tax for it.

*Government's rule say that nobody can privately manufacture the salt.
