Diffusion :- The process by which molecules of water, gases or any substance move from the place of their higher concentration to lower concentration is called as diffusion.

Oxygen enters and carbon dioxide leaves the cell through diffusion only.

Osmosis :- It is a special type of diffusion. When water diffuses through a semi permeable membrane then it is called as osmosis.
