unstable equilibrium :- if the net force is not equal to zero then it is in unstable equilibrium

for eg :- pulling a box

stable equilibrium :- if the net force on a body is equal to zero then we can say it is in stable equilibrium .

neutral equilibrium :- if there is no any net force exerted on a body then it is called neutral equilibrium .

hope this help you ...

\huge\starStable Equilibrium:

\bigcircWhen a Particle is displaced slightly from a position and a force acting on it brings it back to the initial position, it is said to be in stable Equilibrium.

\huge\starUnstable Equilibrium:

\bigcircWhen a particle is displaced slightly from a piston and force acting on it tries to displace the particular further away from the Equilibrium position, it is said to be in Unstable Equilibrium.

\huge\starNeutral Equilibrium:

\bigcirc In the neutral Equilibrium potential energy is constant. When a particle is displaced from its position it does not experience any force acting on it and continues to be in equilibrium in the displaced position. This is said to be in neutral Equilibrium.
