Alimentary canal is the pathway through which food travels.It includes the mouth (buccal cavity),food pipe,stomach,small intestine,large intestine,rectum and anus.
The canal begins at the buccal cavity and ends at the anus.
From the mouth the food enters into our body and gets digested while passing through the stomach,large intestine, small intestine etc.
The process that occurs through out this path is know as digestion.After digestion the toxic substances and waste products are removed through the anus.
