Isotopes have the same atomic number, while isobars have the same atomic mass. Isotopes : Isotopes are atoms that have same atomic number but different mass numbers. Isotopes have the same atomic number because the number of protons inside their nuclei remains the same.

I hope that help you...

HeYaa!☺️

Isobars :- Isobars are atoms of different chemical elements that have the same number of nucleons. Correspondingly, isobars differ in atomic number but have the same mass number. An example of a series of isobars would be ⁴⁰S, ⁴⁰Cl, ⁴⁰Ar, ⁴⁰K, and ⁴⁰Ca.

Isotopes :- An isotope is a form of a chemical element whose atomic nucleus contains a specific number of neutron s, in addition to the number of proton s that uniquely defines the element. The nuclei of most atom s contain neutrons as well as protons.

Hope it helps!☺️
