I will simply add Nacl in it to convert it in brine water.

Because distilled water is pure and has free OH- ions and so it can conduct electricity.
If we take tap water then it will not conduct electricity as its not pure
It is having dust dirt and anoynimous particles so OH- ions cannot move freely.
