Before the war, Nicola and Jacopo lived in a happy family. There father was a singer but he died in war. now they were alone with there sister. The war was going on and there home was destroyed. Now they didn't have place to hide there head. They made a small house with the help of rubbles(small bricks), kept there sister in that house and went to fight against Germans. When they came back, they saw that there sister was facing tuberculosis of spine. They admitted her in the hospital
