The constitution of India gives the citizens 6 Fundamental Rights. Rights are given to the citizen to maintain the dignity of each individual. These 6 Fundamental Rights are :-
→ Right to Freedom
» According to this right, everyone has the right to think, express, work in the way they want but it should not be harming or violating the rights of others.
→ Right to equality
» According to this right, every citizen of India is equal in the eyes of law irrespective of the caste, class, sex, creed, race etc
→ Right to Freedom of religion
» According to this right, every citizen has the right to practice their religion. One can change its religion if he/she wants so.
→ Cultural and Educational Rights.
» Every citizen has the right to practice their culture. Education can not be denied to any citizen on the basis of religion, language, caste etc.
→ Right against exploitation.
» According to this, none shall be exploited by the dominant section of the society. Forced labour should not be done. Child labour is also prohibited.
→ Right to constitutional remedies.
» This right makes other right effective. One can seek to the court/judiciary if his/her or someone else's right is violated.
