HOLA friend!!
Rajdeep here....

Basically seasons in India can be divided into four:
1. The summer season.
2. The Monsoon season.
3. The Season of the Retreating Monsoon (Autumn)
4. Winter season.

Now, let me tell you about the summer season (hot weather season) and Winter season (cold weather season).

1. The summer season extends from the months April to June.

In this season, low pressure starts developing over land and high pressure, over sea.

The places located in the interior of the country experiences Continental type of climate (extreme hot and dry conditions), while those located near the coast experiences the moderating effect of sea, and hence, a moderate climate.

In summer, the kharif crops are grown.

Hot dry winds called Loo blow in North-Western states like Haryana, Punjab. These winds are the major agents which cause Heat strokes.

Mango showers are experienced in the Southern States of Kerala. Cherry blossom, which is very important for coffee cultivation, is experienced in Karnataka.

2. Winter season in India extends from November to February.

After the season of Retreating Monsoon in October, slowly, there is a development of high pressure over land and low pressure over sea.

The North East Monsoon winds start blowing from the Northern part of India to the sea.

These dry winds pick up moisture from the Bay of Bengal, and shed moisture (rain) in the Coromandel coast (Tamil Nadu). Hence, Tamil Nadu experiences winter rainfall.

Places located in the interior of the country experiences an extreme cold climate with snowfall.

The Western disturbances that originate in the Mediterranean Sea, bring rainfall to the North Western States like Punjab and Haryana and bring snowfall in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu.

Rabi crops are grown in the winter.

Generally other parts of India remain dry (free of rain) in the Winter season.

Hope my answer is satisfactory...
Thanks!!
