what do you know about the saminist movement
Answers
The feminist movement (also known as the women's movement, or simply feminism) refers to a series of political campaigns for reforms on issues such as reproductive rights, domestic violence, maternity leave, equal pay, women's suffrage, sexual harassment, and sexual violence.
Samin of Randublatung village, a teak
forest started this movement.
The Dutch government forced the farmers to pay taxes on land and restricted villagers, access to forest by enacting the forest law in Java.
Samin questioned state ownership of the forest. He argued that the state had not created wind, water, so it could not own it.
Soon a widespread movement started. In 1907, around 3000 family started following the ideas of Samin.
Some of the protesters were lying down over the land when the Dutch came for the survey. Some of the protesters even refused to pay taxes.
