amphoteric oxides are oxides which act both as well as acids and base.
these are aluminium oxide and zinc oxide.

an amphoteric compound is a molecule or iron that can reach both as an acid as well as a base. many metals (like...copper,zinc,tin,lead,aluminium) form amphoteric oxide or hydroxides .
