what do you mean by broom in odia and hindi language

Broom in,

odiya = ଝାଡ଼ୁ (jaadu)

Hindi = झाड़ू (jaadu)

So, word for broom is same in both languages. It makes sense if we chase it's origins. Both languages were formed by mixing sanskrit to Prakrit. Odiya is even more closer to Bengali and Assamese and many other North eastern languages of India. That is bcz of geographical proximity.
