All objects have a Centre of mass nearly about Centre like at seven and half cm of a 15 cm of scale in case of hammer it is at other place so at that centre both pole revolves around it and in case of our solar system the earth don't revolves around sun it revolves around it's Centre of mass and sun also

centre of mass is the weighted average of the position of the system.
for an example, the mass of the sun is higher than any planet so the centre of mass of solar system is near the sun due to huge weight that is why all the planet revolve around the sun, now suppose there is two sun whose mass is equal to each other they will form a binary star and revolve around each other and the position of the centre of mass is in the middle.
