whenever you measure something like measuring the length of your scale, there is uncertainty that you can not measure below 0.1 cm which is called uncertainty in measurement.

☯ Uncertaininty in measurment

When true value is not equal to experimemtal calculations then there os uncertainty in measurment.

For example 2g of \sf{H_2} molecules = 602,200,000,000,000,000,000,000

But if we write (602,200,000,000,000,000,000,000) as 6.022 \times 10²² then our uncertainty in measurement can reduce.

Now, Mass of H atom.

0.00000000000000000000000166

But if we write (0.00000000000000000000000166) as 6.61 \times 10^{-25} then our uncertainty in measurement can reduce.

→ Meaningful to present the data, realisitiolly accurating with uncertainity.

There are three ways to reduce the uncertainty in measurement.

(i) Scientific Nitation

(ii) Significant figures

(iii)Dimensional analysis.
