I’m assuming that you’re referring to “common property resources” as you might find in a homeowner’s association documents, or restrictive subdivision definitions.

Although it should be clearly defined, these resources include any assets that are available for use by the members—and for which the members/association are responsible for management and maintenance. (For example, swimming pools, tennis courts, common area lighting, a clubhouse, landscaping, etc. For some properties, it may also include infrastructure items like sidewalks, sewage lines, streets/curbing, or services, such as garbage pickup or regular pest treatment.

Be aware that these may be included in fees required from the homeowners on a monthly/quarterly basis, and may include the option for member-voted “special assessments” that would be paid. These should be considered as part of the homeowner’s “cost of ownership”
