concave lenses are used to correct the hypermetropia
these are thicker at ends and slim at middle
hope it will help you

anamitraroy: A Concave lens is thick at its periphery and thin in the middle. In other words, a lens which is bent inwards in the middle, is a Concave lens. Such a lens diverges the light rays incident on it, so it is also called the diverging lens.
