Hey friend!

》These two words do mean exactly the same thing.

》Both of them may be used either as prepositions or conjunctions.

》Till is more common in an informal style.

》Americans bend slightly and use it as till and until as formal word.

until =  up to .

Om15131: But sir, when I asked to my teacher; he said 'till' is used for the meaning 'up to'. Whereas 'untill' is used fir the same thing but in nagative sense.
