Double circulation refers to the passage of blood through the chambers of the heart twice in one cycle. It has two separate circulation, systemic circulation and pulmonary circulation.

1. Systemic circulation - It is the passage of blood( oxygenated) from the left ventricle of the heart to all the body parts via artery and the passage of blood( deoxygenated) from the body parts to the right atrium via veins.

2. Pulmonary circulation- It is the passage of blood( deoxygenated) from the right ventricle of the heart to the lungs via artery and the reflow of blood( oxygenated) from the lungs to the left atrium of the heart via veins.
