El Nino is warm current which flows in the south pacific , indian ocean. It flows during the Christmas.At first scientist generally told that it takes place after every five years but recently scientist told that it takes place every three years.

Scientists even think that it would flow every year in the near future.

El Nino prevents rain in India and in some other southern parts .
