Endothermic rxn : absorbs the heat. means rxn doesnt produce heat. most of

decomposition rxn are endothermic

for eg: 2Hgo+heat---------->2Hg+O2

EXOTHERMIC RXN: this rxn produces heat .most of the combination rxn are exothermic.For eg :

cao +h2o------>ca(OH)2 + heat
