Frankel Defect = If in a crystal lattice a cation leaves it's lattice site and occupies a space in the interstitial site then the defect is called Frankel Defect.

Crystal lattice = Shape of any crystal in which unit cells are arranged systematically and three dimensionally is called crystal lattice.
