The Green Revolution also known as Third Agricultural Revolution, is a set of research and technology transfer initiatives occurring between 1950 and the late 1960s. It was , introducred basically for the poor farmers who could not offer things at high price and did not earn well.
The initiatives resulted in the adoption of new technologies, including high-yielding varieties (HYVs) of cereals, especially dwarf wheats and rices.
All of these together were some helpful things that had helped the farmers and improved the agricultural growth of the country
