what do you mean by hardware and software

surindersaini37: hardware are the parts which we can see like printer monitor CPU UPS etc and a software which we can only see on screen or internal parts of the computer

Hardware is that part of a computer which we can see,touch,feel.
For examples keyboard,mouse,CPU
Software is a part of computer which is an instruction to the computer.

hardware is the collection of all the parts which you can physically touch. software is a set of instructions for a computer to perform specific operations.
