What do you mean by 'Industrial Revolution'?

Industrial revolution is defined as the changes in manufacturing and transportation that began with fewer things being made by hand but instead made using machines in larger-scale factories.

The change in social and economic organization resulting from the replacement of hand tools by machine and power tools and the development of factories and large-scale industrial production: applied to this development in England from about 1760 and to later changes in other countries.
