interconversion of states of matter means the the matter interconverts or interchange it's physical state without disturbing it's chemical properties on providing physical conditions such as temperature and pressure. for eg- the solid state converts into the liquid on raising temperature. and liquid condenses to solid on decreasing the temperature. similarly condensation of gas to liquid and evaporation of liquid to gas and sublimation is solid to gas or vice versa all are examples of interconversion of states of matter.
