What do you mean by Latent heat of evaporation! (not vaporisation/fusion) Kindly tell from Science NCERT class 9.

hi friend,
when a liquid given energy in thee form of heat it will change into vapors
the energy absorbs in this process is called latent hear of evaporation .

Latent heat of vaporization

It is a physical property of a substance.

When a substance in liquid form is provided with energy, It changes to  gaseous form.

The energy obtained in this process is called Latent heat of vaporization.
